Shasha Zhang – Biography
Dr. Shasha Zhang is an Associate Research Fellow at the College of Materials Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China, and serves as Director of the Materials Pilot Platform at the MIIT Key Laboratory. Her research focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence with physical metallurgy, particularly in developing interpretable AI methods for metallic materials. Her work spans intelligent metallography, process–microstructure–property modeling, creep life prediction, and additive manufacturing of advanced alloys. Dr. Shasha Zhang has published numerous high-impact SCI papers, holds multiple patents, and actively contributes to national and industry standards in AI-enabled materials science.
